The message

Whenever I sit down to make greetings  cards, for some reason I can never think of all the usual messages that get put on them, get well soon, good luck etc so I started a list that I can refer to. I have also started an alternative list. Now I will have my own little collection of bespoke cards, like " I hate you, I am glad you are leaving". 

The resolutions

I have a lovely mountain of paper work, bank statements, pictures of things I like that I rip out of the Sunday newspaper magazines and all the other things I collect on top of my fridge/freezer. Whilst doing a little bit of organising I came across a scrap of paper that made me stop, think and do a little giggle. 

The long walk

I have recently been recruiting manly man friends to help me carry the various heavy objects I need taking home. I have turned into a proper girl and I now like to wear dresses and skip around and therefore I should not have to carry heavy items myself. Cake always seems to work as a method of bribery. That, and a smile. 

The Tawny owl

I have always enjoyed painting. Its just a shame I've never painted anything worth showing to the world. However, I am rather proud of how this little guy is turning out. And I have also (after many many years of art school) discovered "flow enhancer" for acrylic paints. Where has it been all my life??

I can now blog where and whenever  I want in the whole wide world providing I have signal and battery power.
